Overview

ACTINO Skin ®, ACTINO Plasma ®, and ACTINO Nose ®: Human Host Actino’s were selected based on toxins-producing species and their impact on human health.

ACTINO Plasma Requirements: Collect 4 ml – 5 ml of whole blood in EDTA (purple top tube)

Shipping: A blood specimen is stable for up to 4 days at room temperature or ice pack. Include a refrigerated gel pack in the shipping container.

ORDERING:

–You will order test #28 and select ACTINO ® from the Select Test dropdown menu

–Envirobiomics can provide you with a purple top tube needed for the blood draw if the lab you have chosen for the draw cannot do so.

SHIPPING:

Please keep in mind that if there is a heat wave in the summer, you will need to overnight the tube; if there is no heat wave, you can two days ship your tube IF done early in the week. The tube needs to be shipped refrigerated but NOT frozen.

You will need two ziplock bags, an ice pack of bubble wrap, and a bubble mailer. Once your blood is drawn, place your purple tube into the first ziplock bag, and place the ziplock with the purple tube into the second ziplock with the ice pack. Bubble wrap the ziplock bag and place it into the bubble mailer
